My 1957 TR3 has a rear plate TR3. What could be clearer ? The front (we only need a rear plate in Pennsylvania) is 57 TR. Still like the rest of us I get asked what year is my MG ? P.g. Wiegman

Thanks to several responses to my problem removing a rear spring "D" Suggestions included heat, prayer, oil, cutting a hole in the body, removing the body, and generous amounts of cursing. After all

Atempting to remove rear road (leaf) spring from TR3. Left side came off with no trouble. Right side the long bolt with "D" head is frozen. Can't twist since the "D" head is keyed to the frame on the
