I am in the process of restoring a TR250, and would like to add (temporarily, of course) a 1972 or later TR6 head. Does anyone have one they are tripping over in the garage that they would part with

Why? The intake port spacing on the later heads is different than the early ones, you'll need to also get a matching manifold, or live with really poor flow from mismatched ports. The exhaust ports
