Howdy all, I am getting ready to put the head on my TR3 for the first time since I got it. A few weeks ago I went to put the head gasket on and found that the holes in the gasket didn't exactly line

Yes the gasket is solid copper and yes the holes line up, they are just a few mm off. Trying to force it on leads to a mangles gasket. The idea of putting the gasket down and then putting the studs i

Actually that brings up an intersting point, It seems like when I got the car it would only try to start with the ignition switched on, but now the red light on the dash is on whenever the battery is

I just had mine rebuilt for Salt Lake (4500 ft) and the guy said he would have put in a leaner needle, but since I had the 87mm pistons he used the stock needle because they cancelled each other out.
