Actually I'd be running the '85 Mr2 in the class, where tires would be dirt cheap and a fair number of allowed supension mods would make it competitive. And as Peter said, I hope it doesn't allow the

I think that Peter's idea of permitting cars based on their stock (or maybe street prepared) class is a good one. Just excluding the S2000 leaves a lot of other AS/BS cars that would kick butt: the B

Ooh, that's an interesting and elegantly simple idea. Maybe not as fun as competing against similar cars on raw time though? CHuck, what's going on with ST2 on a national level? Is it definitely goin

I've been thinking about this even more over the past day. Splitting Street Tire would accomplish part of the goal, but Charlie hinted that this might be paving the way for a national ST2 class, whic

Let me re-phrase that. I was answering based on queries of specific cars. There would be an inclusion list, not an exclusion list. The only car on the above list that I could see including would be a

I disagree. STX doesn't allow unlimited flywheels and clutches (a big impediment to a streetable SP car), unlimited fuel injection and ignition controls, wheel and tire sizes. That's a short list but

I'll buy that. Most people wouldn't run any of those modifications in a regional Street Tire class, because the appeal is to be able to drive to the event and not change tires. I suppose there's no h

I'll be proposing a new class for 2004 in SFR. I think that a National Supplemental class of this type will be coming, possibly in 2005. Essentially, it's STS for 2 seater cars. Likely cars would be
