I am going to Thunder Hill this weekend and thought about running my Hoosiers instead of my street tires. Will they melt away in 20-30 minute sessions? The Street TD is rated as a autox/roadrace comp

The Hoosiers will not last as long as a Toyo or a Yokohama but there not going to melt in 30 minutes either. A lot of I.T. competitors use them and get several races out of them.-- Sal --Original Mes

Are the Hoosiers the autox compound or the road racing compound? The autox compound can not stand the heat you generate on track and WILL fall apart. Don't believe it? Ask Corey. --Navid

Street TDs are the Hoosier bias ply tire, not the radials. They only come in one compound, as far as I know. KeS ________________________________________________________________________

They are the Street TD compound, check out rsracing.com and the street TD are rated as an autox/roadrace, it really shouldn't be much of a problem. Just wondered if anyone has played with this partic
