- my friend is building an LS1 powered ford probe that will look externally like a stock probe. it uses an rx7 rear end. he asked my advice and i said move the motor as far rearward as possible. james

- Your restriction of the Corvette driveline narrows it down considerably. I'd probably start with an Impala SS (post-smog) or Nova (pre-smog), see how much weight I could strip out, and go from there
