Absolutely have them balanced. Weights coming off is a rare event and can be prevented by using the correct weights and ducttape. the tire guys do it all the time. Scott _____________________________

have course I have never heard of a tire weight injuring a person at an autocross. This does not mean it is not possible, but I find it very unlikely. Remember that folks autocross their street cars

The only reason to balance tires is to quell vibration. Tires usually vibrate to the point that you will really notice it at 65-70 MPH. You shouldn't be going that fast in a Stock or SP car at an aut

You don't have to wait that long with a Lotus. Unbalanced wheels on a Europa can drive you crazy at just about any speed. And 60 MPH + is a pretty regualar thing in an autocross in a Street Prepared
