Yes, a harness bar is legal as long as it serves no other purpose. Softop cars cannot use a harness or torso strap without a rollbar above the helmet if it isn't a hardtop tho. -- Original Message --

IMO Harnesses do provide a safety feature ESPECIALLY in stock class, but not from crashes which are unlikely, but from loss of control due to driver sliding out of position on the seat, quite likely.
