I was speaking to a long time road racer about these shocks (are they called 'reservoir' shocks?), and he was surprised that they were allowed in stock classes. In his experience it is well accepted

Is this really true, or just an enduring autocross myth? Mark Chiles' use of custom shocks on his Neon generated lots of discussion at one time, but I haven't met or heard of many others who followed

No, I wasn't thinking of the remote reservoir shocks. If you send your garden variety Koni's to the rebuilders they can custom build shocks to your specification. THAT's how you get the high dollar s
