My '95 Talon AWD weighed 3,295 lbf at Peru ProSolo with 195 lbf driver and 3 gal of gas. no spare tire. Differences: I have AC and sunroof, you don't. I run 225/50-R16's compared to your 275(?) R17'

A Type R can't touch a 4 yo DSM, or even a new one. A '98 GS AWD can usually beat a type R, if the DSM driver is any good. The 4 yo DSM, much like 5.0 'Stangs, will run CP with 300+hp and coilovers
