- My brakes are little soft so I'm going to bleed the brakes and check the shoes and fluid. Should I start bleeding from a certain wheel? Is there a pattern I should use? Any advise would be appreciate

- Check the rear wheel cylinders, as these are prone to corrosion and leaks. If it's on a standard SV set-up, you need to bleed the rear from the right hand nipple only, as there is a crossover pipe f

- I believe you may be right about that. I looked at the picture too quickly. However, I'm not sure the Series 3 had adjustable brakes. I always believed that they first appeared on the Series V. Can

- As far as I know, the early series 5 had self adjusting brakes. Due to some decision (they sucked?) they were removed from later series 5, and replaced with manual adustment. i looked at the picture

- Just in case anyone is curious, I identified my mystery wheel cylinders. Dave Moorhead identified them as being the kind used on Series IV/V Rapiers. I've since compared mine with those on a Series V
