My S3 Alpine has the seat belt mounting points already in place. Check at the very rear of the floorpan, on the part where it starts to slope upward, and look up into the rear wheel arches from outs

At least for cars sold in the US, all Alpines from the Series III, type II, have the Seat Belt Mounting holes. I am not certain about the early Series III's without digging through my literature. Mar

Sometime over the past year, I remember seeing a diagram of suggested seat belt mounting locations (where to drill the holes) for a SV Alpine. Anybody have access to this and could send it too me bef

The holes are there all ready no need to drill. Look under the carpet in the corners of the floor at the back of the seats. There is even a mounting point for a shoulder belt in the rear wheel well.
