Alright I know my SV was made to run on leaded gas, Should I add a lead substitute to it at every fill up, or should this not be a problem and I can just fill er up? Mike Proper Lansing, MI.

What I understand is that a head that does not have valve seat inserts (which the aluminum head Alpine has), such as the cast iron head designs, will have a shorter valve seat life with unleaded gas

I just did a head for our SV and two of the Exhaust valves on the head that I removed are sunk. Not sure if this was from unleaded or lack of valve adjustments. I would have to question whether addi
