With regards to sloping seats. I had a set in my first Alpine that began to slope. The tube frame was bending. I took the cover off, inserted solid rods into the frame and had it welded back together

When I pulled the engine and tranny out last week I first pulled off the head. No damage. Also, on the hoist was a cool tool that allowed the engine to tilt quite easily when necessary. doug -- Origi

I have three tired 1725's ready for modification. I hope after the dust settles a recipe rises very soon. I do not know the angles, loads nor ratios etc... but I can buy parts and put them together.
