Although you did not mention overhauling the carbs, given that both sprung a leak, I would suspect the float level adjustment which is a bugger to get right, due to the angle they sit at. Julian.

Just realised that both guages are out. I suspect a short/break in the live circuit which should be looped between these behind the dash. This could explain the blown fuse. Julian.
