- Check the 4TR relay. I'd put money down that it's your problem. Solenoids don't go bad frequently (but they do) and starters even less. What you describe does not indicate a starter problem anyway. C

- You can pretty much use any oil you want, though I wouldn't use anything over 30W myself. Depends on how much damping you want. I use hydraulic oil, which gives very light damping and quicker throttl
