The oem Clear Hooters switch was the subject of a safety recall in the 70's, and the recall supplied a (believe it or don't) Lucas switch as the superior replacement. And in fact, it IS a better swit

Question... the wiper switch on my 74.5 is very hard to turn in order to get the wipers to come on. There is so much resistance that the switch is more inclined to rotate in the dash than turn on alt
