- Ok - dumb question #75. I am fitting the new up-rated front axle kit from Uncle Jack's Racing with Timkin bearings. I cleaned out all of the old grease that was inside the hubs and there was a ton. M

- I have been fixing cars for over 30 years, and never used a grease packing tool; and have packed plenty of bearings by squeezing grease into the bearing by hand. Works fine, and the tools never get

- Jim--Bearing packers are good for when doing large bearings, or a lot of them.. As you surmised, he pressure ensures that grease is forced into and between all of the balls, or rollers, right away. B
