I am going to replace the links on my front sway bar. Is this easier to accomplish with the wheels on the ground, or with the front end jacked up? Does either cause a load on the links? While raisin

Buzz--Definately raise the front off the floor as that will unload the torsion from the bar. You may need to use a jack to raise the bar far enough to get the links nutted again. Rick O. 72 TR6

Steve--You should have no problem if you raise the front of the car while changing the anti-swaybar vertical links. A load on the bar only comes into play when one wheel is higher or lower than the o
