TRF has their EBC HIGH-TECH BRAKE DISCS on sale this week (http://tinyurl.com/36zb3d) and I'm wondering what ya'all's experience is with them beyond the "looks cool" factor. Do they make a difference

I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but with today's technology, cross-drilled rotors are nothing but for bling. Just ask any racer. Unless you spend 10K for a rotor made out of space age mate

you spend 10K for a rotor made out of space age materials, any cross drilled rotor will warp or crack before a solid one. Although this wasn't true maybe 15 years ago, cross drilling a rotor will not

At the recent VTR convention there was a session on tuning Triumphs. On the topic of brakes I heard two things: Green stuff is a marketing success, if you want good upgraded brakes use Kevlar Drilled

This brings up a couple other questions.? If the green stuff is a marketing success, what does that mean in regards to those pads?? Are they just as good as regular brake pads, but not better?? If I

I have used EBC Green Stuff pads. Save your money. They are very soft and they wear very quickly. You will get a very nice braking response from them, but they just don't last very long. Cross drille

A disc full of countersunk holes sounds to me like one with a lot less surface area to slow the car. The only point for the holes that I ever saw was for rain fade reduction. My 1977 Yamaha XS750 had

IMHO, these items are more about the "gee whiz" factor. As I've posted before, put real tires on your car and you'll get a lot more bang for your buck. As a point of information, some parts like this

What I find confusing is that TRF describes the Green Stuff pads as Kevlar. It is in the product description and again in the line item for that part: Brake Pad Set, Kevlar, Green Stuff, for fast roa
