Bill--Your carbs may indeed be causing the symptoms of "lean, beyond 2800 rpm," but don't rely on the "piston lifting" test as described in several publications. The pin, or piston need only be raise

Thanks, I have been through most of these, but I think I'll probably go through them again, (and check the diaphragms as well!) BTW, it stalls at 1/16" of lift...... Thanks, Bill
