You should have the short nose crank with the heavier flywheel. The earlier long nose crank was fitted on the 1969 model up to the 1970 model and had the earlier lighter flywheel fitted. weight diff

Don You are completely right--the door gap gets a lot wider near the top when the car is jacked up. If you only get 1/16" wider at the top then be prepared for more, as they can go nearly 3/8" wider
