It's obvious that my door cards are not factory stock..they have keyhole shaped holes with the clip going through the hole and sliding into place down the key slot part. Not much like yours at all. My car had the metal clips in use though until I put some of the plastic ones in, and I know for a fact that I have a new interior kit installed now in dark red as opposed to the green it came originally. I bet NTG or Lou has some of the factory style clips. The old American car metal ones I've seen come from antique cars magazines like "Old Fords Parts"and such. You might try some of those folks. That type of fastener is common on modern cars. It's the other end that seems tricky. The metal clips seem to be attached by the bent ends into two small slots, about an inch apart.
