Ditto on the Harbor Freight gun. Yes take the battery out. I suspect =
many retailers use the same manufacturer and just brand them uniquely.=20

I have a Craftsman. I've had it for many years and have used it many =
times. I keep it in the trunk of the Triumph for the most part. Like =
Bill, I also take the battery out when not in use. BUT, with that said, =
I wouldn't recommend Craftsman since the quality of their tools has gone =
down in recent years. May still be fine but I wouldn't know.

I bought one several years back from Harbor Freight, less than $15 at =
the time. Generic, imported, plastic unit but I have used it hundreds of =
times over the years for all sorts of things. Highly recommended! Hint, =
I take the 9V battery out when it goes into the drawer, because =
otherwise it seems to kill the battery prematurely. Get one!=20

Wondering what infrared temperature guns people have had the most =
success with. I have a $15 coupon from Home Depot burning a hole in my =
pocket, lol.=20

Was considering Klein, Ryobi, and Milwaukee.
