I want to clarify the bullet below regarding Ballot Counters.=C2=A0 I need=
at least 4 people, but 6 would be much better, to count ballots on BCD.=C2=
=A0 We will have two shifts.=C2=A0 First shift will be from 12:00 (noon) un=
til 1:30.=C2=A0 The second shift will be from 1:30 until 3:00.=C2=A0 So an =
hour and a half for each shift.=C2=A0 That will minimize the amount of time=
the ballot counters have to be away from looking at cars, BSing with frien=
ds and drinking their favorite beverages.=C2=A0 As an added bonus, the ball=
ot counting occurs under the big tent that is under the trees.=C2=A0 So you=
will have protection from the weather regardless of the conditions.=C2=A0 =
The job primarily consists of simply typing the numbers that are on the bal=
lots into a spreadsheet and hitting enter on the computer.=C2=A0 The progra=
m does the rest.
I already have two volunteers (thanks Barry & Curt) so I just need 4 more v=
olunteers to step forward.

ay - we have plenty of opportunities at the moment!
- Gate Registration (9-noon) 3-4 people : receive payment, classify, assign=
numbers, and record day-of entrants
- Gate Flaggers (9-noon) 3-4 people : ensure the flow of pre-registrants an=
d other PVGP show attendees, keep gate registrants orderly and enter the fl=
ow with others
- Goodie Bag Tent (9-noon) 2 people : provide entrants with their voting ba=
llot and other ephemera before entering the show field
- Field Flaggers (9-noon) 6 people : direct vehicles to the appropriate cla=
ss, and ensure they are parked well
- Ballot Counters (noon-3) 4-6 people : record votes as they come in, so we=
are on schedule for the 3:30 awards presentation=20
If we can get the people, I=E2=80=99ll operate two shifts (9a-10:30/10:30-n=
oon), so as to not overwhelm anyone in case the weather is stifling.=20
We=E2=80=99ll break down the field, collect the PVGP tables and chairs, and=
pack up the tents after 4pm, so any help there is greatly appreciated, as =
well.
