I had my original TR6 wheels chemically cleaned and derusted at MEC in N=
anty Glo, then epoxy primed and painted. I installed them w/o the beauty ri=
ngs, but with the red hubcaps. Stripping was $35/wheel at that time. Superi=
or to blasting: no sand in the crevices.

My TR6 has steel wheels and old croaker red lines. I=E2=80=99ve ordered=
new tires but I=E2=80=99m undecided what to do with wheels. What you see o=
f the wheels isn=E2=80=99t terrible. The insides are rusty. Got one quote f=
or sandblasting and powder coating at $140 per wheel. Could purchase new mi=
ni lite type alloy wheels, clean up the wheels and paint myself or do nothi=
ng.
