Just as a piece of info, every mailing label has as part of the top
line the words: "EXPIRES WITH ISSUE XXX" if you are current in membership.

Likewise the top line reads: EXPIRES WITH NEXT ISSUE XXX
if your membership is scheduled to expire when you receive athe next issue.

If your renewal isn't received by the next mailing, your label should
then read: "EXPIES THIS ISSUE XXX"

Remember, there can and always will be a time lag between
when you send in a renewal and when the database is updated.
That's simply a function of US Mail delivery time, transfer
of all mail received at our Dearborn address to then be
opened and distributed accordingly, and
finally your renewal info getting updated.

That's why the longer you wait after being notified of a renewal
coming up, the greater the probability your actual renewal may miss
the cut-off when labels are generated for that next issue.
We do try and wait until as late as possible before sending the
current label file to our printer for actual label
generation.

Hope this helps, and if anyone else has questions, please post them.

Also, as an FYI, the membership chairman, Bill Lynn,
is on vacation until after Aug 18th, so please don't flood
his mailbox or email box until after he returns.

Thanks,
Bill Sohl
