I am going to need a replacement or a rebuild for my 2 speed wiper
motor for the 61 Lotus Elite.

Anyone know of a rebuild source, or failing that, a used 2 speed unit
for sale. It is the typical brit unit from almost everything ever
built in the 50's and 60's and beyond I would guess.

Larry, while the units share basic parts, the bit under the top capo
determines the sweep, and its adjustment tells it where to start and stop.

There isn't much to rebuilding these motors - you can but the brush sets for
a few bucks and have the commutator skimmed if need be. I'd suggesy that
you refurbish your old one.

And you have 2 speeds?? We poor MGA owners are happy to have but one speed
that reports in when summoned.

remembered what I like about having no clock or radio with presets - the
batteries
don't go flat over the winter if you forget to start them once in awhile.
Built this engine in 1979 and it started in 5 seconds!)
