Pittsburgh Grand Prix at Beaverun
The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix (PVGP) has just expanded to add a two day
Vintage road race at Beaverun MotorSports Complex just west of Pittsburgh on
July 10 and 11, the weekend prior to the PVGP.
Beaverun is a new 1.6 mile club track, very safe with lots of room to miss a
turn and avoid the resulting consequences. See BS Levybs article in Classic
Motorsports, July 2004, where BS describes his experience in a borrowed car.
1 hour of track time per day. Grids will be configured to make a safe, fun
event for VSCCA, VARAC, SVRA and MONOPOSTO entries.
BeaveRun is only 40 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh and fewer than 30
minutes from the Pittsburgh International Airport. Cleveland is about an hour
away.
