Many thanks for all the replies, the volume of which pleasantly
surprised me.

I'm surprised to learn about the relevant fuel consumption of a vintage
racer, but then again, I've never had a car with a hot cam. =:-0

I am also reminded by some of you that converting a street car to race
is seriously more difficult (and expensive) than just buying a car that
is already race prepped. And I even have a neighbor with a GT6+ in his
garage which he raced years ago in SCCA, but the car has sat idle for
years. Maybe he'd like to see it back on the track.

Thanks, good luck, and keep the shiny side up.
