Tom:
1.) I think this is exactly correct except - Be sure the trailer company
doesn't measure the 16' to the tip of the V. Had a friend that ordered the
exact length he needed, but the box part was about 2' short. He ended up
selling a brand new trailer.
2.) We tow a 24' Haulmark behind a Heavy Duty Club Wagon (E350, V10). The
drag, even behind the big van, is terrible. I would think the V would be a
great help. I picked up 1/2 mpg just by using a little deflector on the
roof of the van.
Just IMHO.
