Cliffle Tire in Detroit used to do it many years ago and they worked fine.
You could usually do it twice before a carcas was used up. It cost about $10
per tire. New Bluestreaks were $37.50!
The was a place in Anderson, SC called Diamond Back that did nice recaps for
dirt and asphalt about ten years ago. I can't find their number now.
