Hi Larry-
Hit the MSN Terraserver website for satelite photos of most of the country.
Search on the nearest town and then work your way out to the track. The detail
these shots show is amazing. On the Road America photos you can see the line
from the tire tracks!
Most of the photos are courtesy of the USGS, but some are Russian spy satelite
photos! Best thing is that they have no distortion because of the angle of the
camera. The photos are adjusted to measure exactly as they do on the ground.
What tracks are you looking for? I have coordinates for most of the CenDiv
courses at work.
If you are looking for non-current tracks, you may be able to get older USGS
photos. My daughter, a student at U of I Champaign at the time, got me a 1961
aerial photo of Meadowdale for my website, www.meadowdaleraceway.homestead.com,
and even a 1939 shot of the property before it was developed.
Hope this helps.
