Most groups require helmets that are SA95 or newer and this date will
progress with time, so why would somebody want to buy a used 95 that may be
good for only 4 years. Given the cost of cars etc the cost of a new helmet
is not much $$

When I was looking for a used helmet recently, maybe I should have
included a size. At the time, I didn't know, but I just tried on a
few helmets, and it would appear that I need a 7-5/8 or so.
Somewhere between an L and XL, when they're sized that way, and
possibly depending on manufacturer. What do you guys think about
setting up a website/ small business to resell all the old helmets
and such that are taking up space in your closets? I would, if I did
such a thing, split the proceeds with the suppliers. If nothing
else, it might provide some beer money for the pit crew. just a
thought, let me know what you think.
