I've made my decision! I had no choice than to consider the 195/60-14's in
the usual suspects because the 205/60-14 is so rare these days. In the end,
McMullen Tire in Renton, WA sold me on the BF Goodrichs. He bought a set,
all heat cycled, just to have, knowing somebody would want them. He will
have them mounted and balanced for me, total price $450. I said 'what about
replacements'? He said he's buying 3 or 4 more sets from his supplier.
That should last me a year, either way. The Yokos and Kumhos are on
backorder, quite frustrating.

So, with my first race April 20, I don't have time to mess around. These
folks can also get the Hoosier Streed TD (205/60-14) for $134/tire. Still,
I get a pretty decent savings. This entire season will be substantially R&D
as this is my first season with the car.

I rec'd my auxilary venturis for my 45 Webers today, and they are of
appauling quality. They are not even venturi shaped, or well finished. My
supplier agreed, and will order another set for me. Just last week my 36mm
venturis came in, and the finish on one of them was just plain hammered, and
this is straight from Weber. Still, the carbs need to get mounted and the
car driven this week. We can only do so much.. :)

So, the GTA will ride on 195/60-14 BF Goodrich KD G-force tires at least at
the beginning of this season. We'll see how it goes. They can't be that
bad! Who knows, by next season we may have more options.
