Graham Capel, in his Eleven history book, "The Historic Years" devotes some
space to a list of all the Eleven drivers who went on to drive F1 . . Clark
is not among them and it's unlikely Capel would have missed Jim Clark!
Having noted that, I DO remember visiting with Jack McKay in Scrabster,
Scotland about 10 years ago. Jack's father, Jamie, raced an early Eleven
and Jack still owned it in 1990. Jack showed me the family scrapbook and it
was full of photos of Jamie, Jim Clark, photos of Elevens and personal
letters from Jim to Jamie. If Jim Clark ever drove an Eleven, I bet Jack
would know . . I'll write him just for fun.
