I don't have a lot of knowledge here, but in looking at trailers while in Europe, all I can say is their hitch requirements (esp. Germany) are completely different than our systems. And, I believe the regulations are much stricter regarding having the proper equipment (hitch, safety chains, breakaways, lights, reflectors, etc.). Not sure where you'd go to find all this, though.
