A few years ago I had a conversation with Bill Parish in which he told
me that such insurance could be had a reasonable price if everyone
purchased it for every event. He said every carrier that hasd entered
the market lost money because virtually the only time it was purchased
was when the liklihood of damage was unusually high, such as 12 and
24-hpur enduros.
