Ted,
Sounds like you have an enclosed trailer. Would it be possible to crank up
the toung jack until the trailer bed is inclined and you are winching the car
in slightly up-hill? I do it this way on my open trailer and it has the
advantage that the car won't roll forward once its on the trailer bed. Once
in position, I tie down the car and jack down the trailer, no roller needed.
