My recommendation is always Weller Wheels. They're willing to do custom
racing wheels, the quality is high, and they have a wheel center that has a
number of small (say 1" dia) holes around the face of the rim, which pretty
closely resembles a number of period type wheels. I had them on my MG
Midget, in a pewter colour, and had a lot of favorable comments. The cost
was $100 CDN each delivered, made to a custom PCD and offset (ie not in
their standard catalog - obviously the PCD for the Midget was 4"). You
want to go with their racing wheels as the center is seam-welded to the
rim, not stitch or spot welded.
