I agree with Vaughn - the "traditional" track time plan is fine.
Any more can be hard work. Any less doesn't justify the entry fee.
What upsets me is when several "special" groups or events get added - often for
no extra entry fee - and then the regular groups get short changed either on
session time or by "dangerous" combined groups.
But I haven't given up yet!
