I have also found that it helps a lot to stay on the inside of the
race line on the cooldown lap - keep away from the marbles
which will stick to your hot tires. Take a slow cooldown lap also,
so the tires will not be hot enough to pick up everything in the pits
and paddock on the way to your spot.
