Hear on the right coast we call this tactic, 'both feet down', ie: clutch
and brake pedal down hard!  No one ever told me about it at drivers
school but a couple of old hands passed on their wisdom.

Saved me twice in one weekend at LRP, although I did get the corner
workers 'MG SUV' award for best off-track performance in a 'T' series.!
