NASCAR @ Sears

I assume most of you saw the NASCAR race at Sears....

Damn, that looked like fun!!  Was it just me, or did it also seem to you that 
these guys were taking some peculiar lines, particularly through 11, 2, and 
9??  Hard to compare lap times with them running the "Chute" course, though.

I can understand taking the inside in 11 if you're in lots of traffic, but 
they were also doing it when alone??....maybe they're not used to turning in 
without banking???

The shortcuts through the dirt in the esses were also impressive....I'll have 
to try that when the black flag guys aren't looking!!! (just kidding...).

And, can you imagine dropping a wheel off the outside of 10 at over 100 MPH 
and still hanging on?????...NOW THAT MOVE impressed me the most!!  I guess 
they're just more used to hitting walls than I am!!
