Stan,
   The standard recommendation for spark plugs is Champion N6YC, and they
should be fine.  If they turn out too cold, then move to N7YC, and lastly to
N9YC.  If you are fouling N9YC, something else is wrong.
   You may get a lot of opinions on brake pads, but in reality, you won't
use them much or very hard.  When the car was new, probably Ferodo pads with
DS11 compound were the recommended pad.  I use Metal-Lux pads made in Canada
by autospecialty, and sold mail order by Dave Bean in California.  I've also
heard that since the cars are so light, street pads are fine to prevent
wheel lockup.  Dave Bean can also give you a good recommendation when you
call on the phone.
