SVRA to honor Road America founder, Cliff Tufte in a 100 mile endurance
race.
The CLIFF TUFTE 100 will be open to all cars entered in the SVRA Badger 200
Vintage Grand Prix to be held May 14 - 17, which are not eligible for either
the Badger 200 or the Dairyland 100 races.
SVRA and event sponsor PaineWebber invite all entrants to participate in one
of these challenging endurance races.
Hanover, NH; April 8, 1998: Three different endurance races will be held at
Road America during the Badger 200 Vintage Grand Prix, sponsored by VICTORIA
BRITISH.
Badger 200 (200 miles)
· Eligibility will be limited to pre-1973 production sports cars and sedans
prepared to period standards of authenticity.
· SVRA supplemental rules will apply. Entrants not familiar with these should
request them.
· There will be three mandatory five minute pit stops.
· A co-driver is recommended but not required.
· The Badger 200 will start at approximately 9am on Sunday, May 17.
· The race will be started from a standing grid on the main straight.
Dairyland 100 (100 miles)
· Open to all competing formula cars.
· There will be one mandatory pit stop.
· The Dairyland 100 be held in the morning on Saturday, May 16.
Cliff Tufte 100 (100 miles)
· Open to all competing cars not eligible for the Badger 200 or Dairyland 100.
· There will be one mandatory pit stop.
· The Cliff Tufte 100 be held immediately following the Dairyland 100 on
Saturday, May 16.
