The Alfa Romeo Association will be doing exactly the same thing on
Saturday. They've been doing this for quite a while. I believe there's
also a $10 admission charge to the track. I'd also add that people
should show up earlier than 11:00 AM. People typically have a ton of
stuff to unload from their cars before going out. It takes time to
inspect a bunch of cars too. People should check their own cars over
before going to the track. Make sure your battery is secure, your
fluids topped up, your brakes working, etc. The tech inspection at the
track is not a guarantee of safety! How many cars are you expecting?
I don't know what the exact schedule of events is, as in when I will be
on track, but time permitting, I could give your group a line talk if
you would like one. I'll be there in the red/black Bourgeault Formula
Junior, #199. Look for me in the pits. I should be getting the CSRG
schedule for that weekend fairly soon. We can touch bases later. It
may turn out that I'll be on the track as your group is getting together
so I may not be available.
