This is the second time this week that this hoax has made the rounds,
and once again from an academic, who should know better, or know people
who know better. There is no possible way a virus can be transmitted by
simple email. The most glaring proof that this is a hoax is the warning
from AOL: no one connected with AOL would have the foggiest notion
concerning any virus other than medical.
As for this being announced by IBM... uh, oh yeah, that's it! I saw the
headline just this afternoon, in the uh, in the uh...the New York Herald
Tribune! Yeah! That's it!
I wonder who generates these things...
