An friend of mine tried to restore his MG TC some 30 years ago on the
sidewalk in front of his apartment in Manila. Obviously, this didn't work
very well, but he found that the major bits could be brought indoors.
Eventually, the TC took shape in his living room, and a good restoration it
was too. However, the completed product would not fit through the door, so
they had to knock down the living room wall.
Of course, all in keeping with the NZ rules (below 2 liters in lounges and
hallways), which extend at least to this part of the world.
