This weekend, Sept 19, 20 and 21, The Vintage Sports Car Drivers
Association(VSCDA) will be holding the Elkhart Lake Vintage Festival at Road
America, Elkhart Lake, Wi. The Featured Marque this year is Ferrari.
A full contingent of Team Thicko Sprites will be on hand to provide quality
entertainment. Also, in our paddock will be Fourintune Garage with two "Big"
Healey racing machines. Car #106, a Healey 100-6, will be driven by Phil
Coombs and Tom Kovacs recreation of the prototype 100-S car will be driven
by ex-Factory Driver John Colgate.
The TT pits are THE place to be when at Road America. On Sunday, the local
Wisconsin Chapter of the Austin Healey Club of America will be holding their
Annual Chili Blast-Off. This event, widely publicized and VERY popular,(the
Chili is out of this World!) is a first come, first served deal. This
happens around the Noon hour, on Sunday, Sept 21, also at the Team Thicko
pit area. Be there early for a good seat and even better Chili.
Team Thicko will have regalia items for sale(help us out..PLEASE!) You
havent lived til someone comes up to you, completely unexpectedly, and asks
"What the heck is Team Thicko?"... So this is your chance to live that
experience. Again, come early, buy often.
